CFR Operations (Custos Forge Research Operations) is a 100% veteran-owned company dedicated to arming civilian tacticians, sportsmen, and preparedness-minded Americans with the tools, training, and truth they need to make mission-ready decisions.
We started CFR with a simple but powerful idea: cut through the BS. After years of being an avid shooter, I struggled to understand where my hard-earned money was actually going. I bought overpriced gear based on marketing hype. I cut corners in the wrong places. Even after hours of reading reviews, I was still burned by equipment that didn’t hold up when it counted.
Then I joined the Army—and realized “military grade” doesn’t mean top-tier. It often means lowest-bidder. I watched gear fail in real-world conditions where failure wasn’t an option. That frustration became the fuel behind CFR.
