What is the Super Safety?

The Super Safety is a precision-engineered, dual-mode fire control system for AR-pattern rifles.

  • Semi-Auto Mode works like a traditional AR-15 trigger.

Super Safe Mode mechanically replicates the rapid reset effect of a forced reset trigger (FRT), using an improved mil-spec trigger—delivering faster follow-up shots without requiring fine-tuning or attracting legal scrutiny.

What comes in the Super Safety kit?

Each Super Safety Kit from CFR Operations includes:

  • Dual-mode modified trigger
  • Crossbolt cam arm & engagement lever
  • Safety detent

FREE lower parts kit for improved fit and compatibility
 All components are hand-verified and backed by a 1-year warranty.

Is the Super Safety compatible with my rifle?

It’s compatible with most mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers including:

  • Confirmed Compatible: Aero Precision, BCM, Spike’s Tactical, Anderson, PSA, Daniel Defense, Sons of Liberty, Smith & Wesson M&P15
  • May Require Fitting: Colt LE6920, other high-shelf lowers

Not Compatible: AR-10s, AR-12s, AR-22s, MP5s, HK platforms, non-standard or billet lowers without adjustment
 Always test fit and consult a qualified gunsmith if unsure.

Does this work in 9mm, .45 ACP, 5.7, or other calibers?

Yes, but tuning is required. On PCCs, the bolt may need trimming or replacement. The CMMG RDB system is the most reliable platform for these builds. Ensure your bolt locks fully into battery to avoid malfunctions.

Does the Super Safety increase rate of fire or convert my firearm to full-auto?

No. It is a non-regulated mechanical enhancement. It does not modify fire control timing or create full-auto function.

Installation & Compatibility

Do I need a gunsmith to install this?

While many users can install it at home, we recommend professional installation for optimal performance—especially on non-standard platforms.

What should I check before installing the Super Safety?
  • Use only mil-spec AR-15 parts during setup. Avoid M16 or heavily modified fire control groups for initial testing.

  • Ensure your lower is low-shelf. If not, minor Dremel work may be needed behind the safety hole.

  • Use a full-auto bolt carrier group (BCG)—semi-auto BCGs often cause reset failures.

Make sure the detent spring is properly aligned and provides appropriate tension.

Will this void my rifle’s warranty?

Modifying any firearm may affect your OEM warranty. Contact your manufacturer for specifics.

Is the Super Safety legal in my state?

We do not ship to the following jurisdictions due to local restrictions:
 CA, CT, CO (Boulder/Broomfield), DE, FL, HI, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, RI, WA, DC, and Puerto Rico.
 Orders from these locations will be canceled. It is your responsibility to ensure local compliance.

Do I need an FFL to purchase this?

No. The Super Safety is a non-serialized, non-regulated part and is legal to purchase by civilians in most states.

Will you share my purchase data with the government?

Never. We prioritize privacy and only share information if legally compelled by a valid court-issued subpoena or warrant.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days from Chandler, Arizona. You’ll receive tracking information via email once fulfilled.

Returns & Warranty

What’s your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days for unused, uninstalled products in original packaging. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

What’s covered under your warranty?

All Super Safety kits are backed by a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Misuse, improper installation, or third-party modification may void warranty.

What information do you collect?

We only collect what’s needed to process your order (shipping address, billing info). Payment is handled by secure PCI-compliant processors.

Can I request my data be deleted?
